This year, our shelter is celebrating our 16th
annual Wiggle Waggle Walk For Woods and we
invite everyone in our community to participate.
The goal of the WWW Event is to provide local
dog lovers an opportunity to celebrate the
human/animal bond with their beloved four legged
companion, all while helping to generate much
needed financial support for the homeless
animals that are staying with us at Woods.
Participation is |

easy, simply fill out our
registration form,
ask your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers to sponsor
you and your dog, and join us for a day of canine
related festivities. This year’s top pledge earners will
be competing for some truly wonderful prizes (stay tuned
for more details). Dogless walkers are welcome and anyone that raises
$100 or more is eligible to walk a Woods Dog (must RSVP by October 8th). |

This year’s event also features a Pet Fair
featuring local animal organizations and businesses, animal
toys and goodies, demonstrations from local working dog
organizations, and Canine Good Citizen Testing. We are happy
to have the participation of local K9 groups to present
demonstrations on canine handling and obedience. If you
think your dog has what it takes, you may also be interested
in participating in some of |

our K9 Contests including:
biggest/smallest, owner look-a-like, silly dog
trick, Halloween Costume, sloppy kisser, and oldest but
not forgotten competitions. We are also including a
special area dedicated specifically for kids, including
face painting, games and dog biscuit decorating.

|
All of the proceeds that are generated
through this fundraiser go directly to the humane
sheltering and ongoing veterinary care of the animals at
Woods Humane Society. Only 5% of the financial resources
to keep our shelter operational are generated through
the fees that we charge, the other 95% is generated by
your support. We have recently celebrated the 53rd
Anniversary of Woods, and we need your help in order to
continue providing premier care for the animals in our
charge.

Individual Participants (and dogs) will receive a walker
gift bag valued over $25 and a limited edition WW16 Event T-shirt
Family and Team Participants will receive up to 4 walker
bags and 4 limited edition WW16 Event T-shirts.
Additional Event T-shirts will be available for $15 at
the event.
