 We are happy to introduce “Pickle” as this week’s featured Pet Pal. Pickle is a 3 year old Brown & White Domestic Short Hair Tabby that has called Woods Humane Society his home since July. He joined our adoption program as a transfer from the County Department of Animal Services. Pickle is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and micro chipped. He is looking for a somewhat active home that would allow him to live both indoors at night and outside during the day. He is a handsome Tabby with an adorable pink nose. Pickle is quiet, but very affectionate, loving, and highly tolerant of being held and snuggled. Once you start petting him he’s all over you, purring and wanting more. And if you’re down on his level, Pickle will give you lots of loving head-butts and nuzzles. Pickle does tend to stay away from other cats, but doesn’t seem to mind them at all in our cattery. He would also make a wonderful cat for a family with children and is completely litter box trained. If you or anyone that you know is looking to adopt a new feline into the home, please consider stopping by the Cattery of Woods Humane Society and spend some time getting to know Pickle and the rest of our feline guests. Give them a couple minutes of your day and you are almost guaranteed to find a cat to fall in love with. Woods currently has a very high feline population and we are desperately seeking loving homes for these amazing and overlooked animals.
