PAW-SCHOOL
Woods Humane Society thrives on finding
life long loving homes for all of our animals. Adopters
sometimes face trying experiences after the “honeymoon”
of adoption. Our new obedience class will provide you
with an excellent opportunity to fine tune your
relationship with your newly adopted companion. Paw
School will work on basic obedience, introduce you
to canine agility, and address any behavior issues
you might be having. Your dog does not have to be
an animal adopted from our shelter to participate
in PAW-SCHOOL.
Course duration is six consecutive Saturdays
and the next course starts May 17th.
Time: 9:00 am, each session is approximately 1 ˝ hours
Place: Woods Humane Society, Community Room
Fee: $125 for six week course
Instructor: Ken Brown
Ken originates from the Virgin Islands and has over
30 years of training experience. He visits our shelter
several times a week to work with our dogs as well as
our staff. Through these means, we are able to lay a
foundation of good manners for you-the adopter. Ken’s
style of training is to treat each dog as an individual
and to work with what the dog gives you. If you have
recently adopted your dog from our shelter, it most
likely has already met and worked with Ken.
Class Size: 6 dogs, reservations required
