Woods Humane Society is committed to placing our homeless animals into loving, caring, humane environments.

Planning to Give a Gift?

If you intend to give someone an adopted animal as a gift, please consider purchasing a Gift Certificate to cover the adoption fees. Gift Certificates are available for any amount.

Perfect Match

To insure that the right animal goes home with the right family, we require that all adoptions be made with the primary care-giver of the animal present.  By purchasing a gift certificate, the new adoption family will have the chance to come in to the shelter and choose an animal that fits their “Perfect Match” criteria.

Woods Humane Society is actively participating as a Lead Agency for SLOVOAD. In the event of a large-scale local disaster, Woods Humane Society will mobilize our resources to support displaced local pets.
