101 Freeway to Santa Rosa Avenue exit, cross over the freeway.
Turn right on El Camino Real.
Turn left on El Bordo Avenue (Bloom-n-Grow flower shop on the corner).
Heilmann Dog Park is located at the end of El Bordo Avenue next to the Redberry picnic area.
3/4 acre fenced off-leash dog park. Picnic tables, water, children's playground, and restrooms available nearby. Location: El Bordo Avenue next to Chalk Mt. Golf Course. Directions: 101 fwy to Santa Rosa exit. Go east on Santa Rose and turn right on El Camino Real. Turn left on El Bordo Avenue next to Bloom 'n Grow Florist. Dog park is at the end of El Bordo Avenue. |

Nipomo
Nipomo Dog Park
From 101 Freeway, exit at Tefft Avenue exit. Go north east on Tefft Ave. about 1 mile. Turn right on Pomeroy. The area is located in the south east corner of the park (below the corner of Pomeroy & Tefft). Parking is located below the facility next to the T-ball field with a pathway from the parking lot up the slope of the gate.

This regional park offers hiking trails, a botanical garden, volleyball courts, softball fields, campground and a designated off-leash dog park. The hiking trails offer scenic views on Eagle Rock and a cool creek walk along Dairy Creek. The Eagle Rock trail is about .7 miles and is rated strenuous. There are two other trails including Dairy Creek that are about 1 to 2 miles long and rated easy. Dogs must be on leash at all times, except in the dog park. To get to the park from Highway 101, head south and then take the Santa Rosa St. exit. Turn left on Santa Rosa which will turn into Highway 1 after Highland Drive. Continue about 5 miles and the park will be on your left, across from Cuesta Collete.
Laguna Lake Park
This park allows you to drive up and just open your door. The dog park is unfenced and well away from main roads. Location: Madonna Road at Dalidio Place. Directions: Hwy 1 Madonna Rd exit; south on Madonna Rd to Dalidio Place; right into Park Entrance; follow main road to end, do not turn. |
