Adopting a Shelter Animal
When you leave the shelter with your new pet, it is understood that you will be your pet’s care-giver for life. This commitment involves serious consideration of your pet when you are planning a move, providing proper training and medical care for the animal, and spending time with the animal to meet its needs for physical activity and psychological fulfillment.

Gift Certificates
If you intend to adopt an animal for someone as a gift, please consider purchasing a Gift Certificate toward the adoption instead. We require that any and all adoptions be made with the primary care-giver of the animal present. For more information, click here.
