Animal Care Assistant Volunteers

Objective:

To assist the Woods staff in providing clean, healthy, and well-maintained housing for the shelter animals.

Duties:

Feeding animals, putting out bedding, laundry, scooping waste, washing dishes, preparing treats, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, and filling swimming pools.

Qualifications:

Must be 14 years of age

Training:

Continuous on the job training

Time Commitment:

Four days per month for six months

Supervision:

Direct Supervision by the Director of Operations or Lead Animal Caregiver
