Woods Humane Society Operational
Update:
During this challenging time, Woods has maintained pet adoptions through an appointment based system that allows us to limit foot traffic throughout our buildings and maintain social distance guidelines. While the shelters are not open to casual public visits, we remain at your service for surrender and adoption needs and we look forward to resuming our other services such as low cost spay/neuter and live Humane Education programs for kids. Our staff are on location every single day caring for the remaining animals in our care and assisting callers with directing animal intake and advising on adoptions. Our Humane Education program has a variety of virtual programs for children and our Behavior and Training Department has resumed our dog training classes in an outdoor environment to maintain everyone’s safety. We are committed to continuing to support our community in every way possible, just as you have all supported our work.
