Woods Humane Society offers community service-oriented youth volunteer programs for First Grade through High School! Read below to sign up for an upcoming program to help animals in need. To hear about upcoming events, sign up for our newsletter!

Spring-Summer 2019 SESSIONS

Humane Education 2018

 

Grades 3rd-6th, $10 per class
Monday, May 13th, 4-5 pm
Monday, May 20th, 4-5 pm 
 
Grades 1st-6th, $10 per class
Tuesday, June 4, 4-5 pm  
 
Grades 7th-12th, $10 per class
Thursday, May 30th, 3:30-5 p.m.
Sunday, June 2nd, 10:30AM-12:00PM
 
Grades 9-12 - High Schoolers
Jr. Counselor Training Days, $5 per
If you are currently in High School and are interested in being a volunteer Jr. Counselor this summer for one or more weeks of Critter Camp, please sign up to help at one of our Jr. Counselor Training Days in May (May 13, 20, 30, June 2nd or 4th). If you can not attend one of those, please email  HumaneEd@WoodsHumane.org.
 
Each event includes interaction with a Woods animal(s), enrichment activities for the animals, and learning about helping shelter animals!

Space is limited. Please sign up online. Events are subject to cancellation without refund, and spaces are limited. Scholarships available; email HumaneEd@WoodsHumane.org for information.

GUIDELINES:
-- Students must be signed in and out by a parent or guardian.
-- Please wear closed toe shoes and long pants.
-- This program is not appropriate for those with severe allergies to dogs, cats, rabbits or hay.
