Woods Humane Society offers community service-oriented youth volunteer programs for First Grade through High School! Read below to sign up for an upcoming program to help animals in need. To hear about upcoming events, sign up for our newsletter!

Fall 2019 SESSIONS
Jr. Volunteers - Grades 6-12
Video making, light cleaning and event support
Woods SLO:
November: 7, 14, 21
December: 5, 12, 19
4-5 p.m.
Woods North County:
November 19 & December 10
4-5 p.m.
$10 per session, Space Limited, Register in Advance
Crews - Grades 1-5
Toy making, reading to the animals, & other projects such as pet portraits and light animal care
Critter Crew, Woods SLO:
November: 6, 11 (Veteran's Day), 20, 27
December: 4, 11, 18
4-5 p.m.
$10 per session, Space Limited, Register in Advance
November 5, December 3
4-5 p.m.
$10 per session, Space Limited, Register in Advance
Event Volunteers
6th-12th grade
SANTA PAWS event helpers: Saturday, Dec. 7, 11a.m.-3 p.m.
High School Jr. Counselors - Grades 9-12
Assist with child and animal care at our younger children's programs (Critter and Kitty Crews). If interested please sign up in advance for a Critter Crew or Cat Whisperer date and email HumaneEd@WoodsHumane.org ahead of the program date.
Space is limited. Please sign up online. Events are subject to cancellation without refund. $10 per program. Scholarships available; email HumaneEd@WoodsHumane.org for information.
